I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California where I began my language studies with Spanish and Italian in middle and high school respectively. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Amherst College where I also studied music and foreign languages. I began studying German at Amherst and had the unique opportunity to visit Vienna for a class during my second year, furthering my interest in German language and culture.

Since graduating in 2022, I have worked in several educational and non-profit settings with young children. I was a production assistant for The Young People’s Chorus of New York City, supervising children ages 8-18 in an afterschool arts setting. I also worked as a program supervisor for a summer STEAM program with BEAM Center, implementing a science and arts curriculum for newly immigrated Spanish speakers in grades 3-5. 

In my free time I enjoy writing and playing music around the city, baking, knitting, walking dogs, and spending time with friends and family. I am excited to be a part of the community at GSB!
