Born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, I have always been deeply connected to the energy and diversity that New York City has to offer. I earned my B.S.Ed in Elementary Special Education from Indiana University, Bloomington. Afterwards, I returned home to New York to complete my M.S.Ed in Teaching Literacy and General Childhood Education at Bank Street College of Education.
Since 2021, I have had the privilege of working with young learners and developing a teaching practice rooted in warmth, connection, and a genuine belief that every child deserves to feel known and supported in the classroom. I am especially passionate about literacy and meeting each student where they are, honoring the unique strengths and needs they bring with them.
Outside of school, I am a lifelong music lover — you'll often find me flipping through vinyl records or catching a live concert. I also love to travel, explore new cuisines, get lost in museums, and soak up everything this city has to offer.
I am thrilled to be part of this community and cannot wait to embark on each day of learning together.
