I began my educational journey in Tennessee, where I am originally from. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies and Spanish Language and Literature from Rhodes College in Memphis. My studies and experiences abroad have taken me to Cuenca, Ecuador; Sevilla, Spain; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and most recently, Madrid, Spain, where I completed a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics through Middlebury College. To further develop as an international educator, I remained in Madrid to complete a second Master of Arts in International Education and Bilingualism and earned a Teaching and Learning certificate from the International Baccalaureate Organization.

I have taught middle school and high school in bilingual and international schools in the US and Spain, where I have witnessed the transformative power of exploratory and multicultural learning. Cultivating curiosity and compassion are central to my teaching philosophy, which aligns closely with GSB’s commitment to inquiry-based and social-emotional learning. I believe education is a reciprocal process in which teachers foster environments where every member of the community is encouraged to learn from one another.

As Middle School Coordinator, I strive to learn from every voice within the school community: teachers, students, and parents alike. These relationships are invaluable because they help me better understand how to support each person in their educational journey. I am thrilled to be part of the Global School Brooklyn community and am delighted to learn from and contribute to the vibrant community that makes GSB so special!
