I’m originally from Germany but have called several countries home over the years. My family moved to Michigan when I was in 10th grade, and after finishing high school there, I returned to Germany for university. Since then, I’ve taught English in Japan and, as of 2024, I’m based in New York City, teaching Biology, Science, and German at Global School Brooklyn.

I hold a Master’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus on ESL, German, and Biology from the University of Kassel, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in German Studies.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures - an experience I aim to bring into my teaching to encourage curiosity, adaptability, and global thinking in my students.
