I have always believed that schools have the power to shape not only what children know, but who they become. As an educator and school leader, I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with students, families, and faculty and creating a school culture where every child matters.

Before joining GSB, I taught and mentored in New York City public schools and abroad, led the Education Department at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and taught yoga to both children and adults. I earned my B.A. in English from Columbia University, a master's degree in Education through the NYC Teaching Fellows program at Lehman College, a master's degree in Educational Psychology from Hunter College, and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University.

My years as a Language Arts teacher at the Manhattan School for Children shaped my philosophy as an educator. Immersed in the study of teaching and learning, I worked closely with literacy consultants to refine instructional practice, and our classroom became a demonstration site where educators from across New York City came to observe literacy instruction. Those experiences deepened my love of language arts and sparked my passion for coaching teachers and supporting professional growth. Today, although my role has evolved, I remain deeply connected to teaching and learning and believe that investing in educators is one of the most important ways to positively impact students.

I have had the privilege of being part of GSB since its founding in 2014. Over the years, I have served in a variety of leadership roles, including Head of Lower School, Head of the English Department, Head of School Development, and Deputy Head of School. Having helped build the school from its earliest days, I have a deep appreciation for the vision, resilience, and collaborative spirit that define our community. It is an honor to now serve as Head of School and to help guide GSB into its next chapter.

As Head of School, I am committed to fostering a joyful, inclusive, and intellectually engaging environment where curiosity, kindness, and global citizenship are woven into everyday learning. I believe the strongest schools are built on authentic partnerships among students, educators, and families, and I strive to ensure that every decision reflects the mission and values of our school. It is a privilege to lead this vibrant international community, and I look forward to partnering together as we all continue to learn and grow.
