Nele Rohde Preschool Support and Educational Assistant
I grew up in western Germany and, ever since my own school days, I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. I have always been fascinated by the impact that inspiring educators can have on a child’s confidence, curiosity, and sense of belonging.
As an educator, I am committed to nurturing each child’s unique strengths while fostering a love of learning, creativity, and critical thinking. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of educational settings in Germany and abroad, including a German international school in the Balearic Islands, where I gained valuable experience working with diverse learners and international school communities.
I hold a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Primary Education and a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences. Alongside my work in schools, I have been involved in educational research and international projects focused on inclusion, innovation, and student empowerment.
I believe that meaningful learning grows from strong relationships built on trust and respect. My goal is to create a classroom where children feel safe to be themselves, take risks, ask questions, and discover the joy of learning.
Outside of school, I enjoy indoor cycling, baking, painting, and spending time outdoors.
