Originally from Hamburg, Germany, I began my professional career in the steel trading industry after completing my qualification as a Business Administrator in Wholesale and Foreign Trade. During a year as an au pair in New Zealand, I discovered how much I enjoyed working with children. That experience inspired me to pursue a new path, and I went on to earn my Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Middle School Education in Lüneburg, followed by a Master's degree in Education with a focus on German and Geography in Hamburg.

In 2022, I moved to New York, where I completed additional training through the Goethe-Institut and earned the Green Diploma, qualifying me to teach German as a foreign language. I taught German to both children and adults before joining an IB school in New York, where I further developed my experience in bilingual and inquiry-based education as a class teacher and Head of the German Department.

In 2026, I joined GSB, where I am excited to inspire students to develop a love of the German language and culture. I strive to create a supportive and engaging classroom where curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning can flourish while maintaining high academic standards.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
