I was born and raised in California, but Spanish was my first language. Growing up, I spent my summers traveling to my parents’ hometowns in Jalisco and Zacatecas in Mexico where I developed a deep love for the people, the culture, and the language itself. 

After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in English, I moved to Spain to become an ESL teacher. I spent an amazing four years working with students in PreK through high school at schools across Madrid and Mallorca.

Since moving back to the U.S., I’ve been helping brands grow and connect with their audiences. I’m now excited to combine my experience in marketing with my passion for education to help GSB on its mission to explore a world of possibilities.
