I am a trained Kindergarten teacher, born and raised in Switzerland. Since moving to New York in 1995, I have had the joy of teaching in a variety of educational settings, including Montessori and Waldorf, always with a focus on nurturing the whole child - intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

Over the years, my work has been wonderfully diverse: I ran my own Music Together business, taught Shakespeare for young children, and led a fiber arts class at Avenues. I have also taught private German lessons for all ages, worked with 4th graders at the German School New York, and taught at the private language school Carousel of Languages on the Upper East Side.

Alongside teaching, my passion is the theater. I co-founded an experimental theater group and created a Shakespeare program for children ages 7–14. On a personal note, I am also the proud mother of two daughters, who have been my greatest teachers.

I am very excited to bring my experience, creativity, and love for teaching to the community at GSB each, and I always look forward to growing and learning together.
